In 12th   April afternoon, the direct of Today art museum Gaopeng was invented by Asia Society Hong Kong Center and have a communication with esteemed panelists from leading cultural institutions from the region.

The digital age has achieved revolutionary advances in every industry. What has been its impact on the culture sector? Commissioned by Google, the Economist Intelligence Unit(EIU) created A NEW AGE OF CULTURE: The Digitisation of Arts and Heritage, a report that explores the progress that cultural institutions around the world have made in adapting digital tools to foster greater audience interaction.

 Chris Clague, Senior Editor, from EIU will present the findings of the report which is based on the data collected from 243 arts and heritage institutions, assessing the progress of digitization in 22 countries. 


Following the report, esteemed panelists from leading cultural institutions from the region will give a brief presentation on the implementation of technology in enhancing their institutions strategy in preserving and promoting art and culture.


Panelists will also discuss key topics such as opportunities and challenges in cultural digitization, and the role cultural institutions play in propagating and fostering digital learning.
