Today Art Museum (TAM) is a contemporary art museum dedicated to providing a comprehensive platform and serving as a bridge to connect artists, the public, and interdisciplinary institutions. “Art + Science&Technology”, “Art + Design”and “Contemporary Art” are three focuses for our future exploration. TAM was the first contemporary art museum to receive non-profit status in mainland China in 2002, and stands by its foundations in innovation and social impact through art. Since its inception, TAM has been at the forefront of stimulating dialogue and the production of original works and concepts. The museum’s extensive program of exhibitions, events, education, research, collection, and publishing reflect current issues and phenomenon in China, Asia, and beyond. We seek to inspire ideas and empathy and allow contemporary art to be more accessible to diverse audiences.
