On November 24, 2018, the first "International Museum Youth Forum", co-organized by the Chinese Museums Association, the International Council of Museums and the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government, closed at the Fuzhou Strait International Conference Center. The issues of sub-forum were around the common growth of young people and museums, the inheritance of traditional culture by the youth and the future development direction of museum, etc. Many speakers said that there was a trend that museum workers get younger and younger, museums are the places for young people to learn and grow, and the development of museums relies on the participation of more young people.
