With the success of Woodcut Workshop in April 2012, Prof. Yang Hongwei & his students will continue to guide us through the production process of print art works. You may bring your favorite photos to Today Art Museum to have them drawn on-site. Finally, these drawings will be made into woodcut prints that can be used to decorate your home or your office desks. The painting, carving & decoration techniques can be helpful in your future life. In one word, you may thoroughly taste the joy of woodcut in this workshop.

If you want to participate in the production of works, you have to book at first. Anyone interested in prints are welcome for a visit.

Prof. Yang Hongwei, having been engaged in printmaking for almost 20 years, now teaches at the Prints Department of CAFA. His works are of great delicacy where his persistent attitude is fully displayed. His works reflects his mind. His works are not only highly appraised by his friends such as Xu Bing, A Cheng, and Li Tuo, but also widely collected by the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Art Museum of China, Today Art Museum, Sichuan Art Museum, Guangdong Art Museum, Guan Shan Yue Art Museum, Yanhuang Art Museum, US New Jersey Culture Center, UK Woodcut Foundation and other art institutes.

* No limitation on the number of site visitors. But only 30 persons are allowed for production of woodcut. Please book in advance if you want to participate in production.
* Special note: for the easiness of processing by our staff, the participators have to email the electric images (of unlimited content, with size that can be clearly printed on A4 paper) to edu@todayartmuseum.org. Those who intend for on-site production can skip this step.
* Free visit, material charge for participation: RMB 50 per person
