Ngari is "the heart of Tibet" and "the center of the World Roof", with numerous "magical, mysterious and sacred" monopolistic tourism resources and "grand, vigorous and boundless" regional landscape features, unique landforms, diverse plateau ecology and mysterious cultural landscape. It has formed a series of high-grade and unique tourism resources: the holy Mountain Kangrinboqe (also known as Mt. Kailash in Hindi) and divine Lake Manasarovar are world-renowned; The site of Gurge Kingdom’s capital and Zhada Earth Forest are jointly applying for world natural and cultural heritage; Ngari’s dark sky protection site is one of the first dark sky reserve sites in China recognized by international organizations. Ngari also gave birth to such profound ancient Tibetan civilization systems as "Zhang Zhung Civilization", "Bon Religion" and "Gurge Kingdom". 

In recent years as the Qinghai-Tibet Railway opened to traffic, Elikunsha Airport navigation, 219 national highway runs through Ngari section, the asphalt road linked the seven-counties fully constructed, Ngari Prefecture’s tourism entered a stage of rapid development, tourism service facilities and functions improved, the main body of the tourism market rapidly developed, tourism brand popularity soared, tourism enriching effect is becoming more and more significant.

Under the firm leadership of the local Party Committee, Prefectural Administrative Office, with the "frontier, selfless dedication, hard work, pioneering and innovative" as the primary connotation and under the guidance of "Ngari’s Spirit", Ngari’s people countenance, forge ahead, Ngari’s economy sustained, rapid and sound development, social situation maintained harmonious stability, decent ecological environment for the masses of all nationalities living standards continued to improve. A vivid Ngari is in front of the world with a changing attitude.

For displaying Ngari’s splendid natural scenery, long history and culture, sound natural ecology, simple folk customs and new urban and rural landscape, on July 25 to July 31 supported by Beijing Apple Charity Foundation and the Beijing Today Art Museum, the Ngari Prefecture Tourism Board held this Ngari’s Photography Exhibition, the selected local photographers, MiMa-CiRen, JinMei-WangJiu and CangYang-QunDan taken sixty travel photos of Ngari, in the form of "Seven Tops", taking you to enjoy Ngari’s landscape scenery and historical cultural, bring you into the beautiful Ngari, blessed Ngari. Mr. MiMa- CiRen, the founder of Zhang Zhung Memory Photography Studio, will also telling Ngari's story behind the photos on the spot, looking back at Ngari's past with you, understanding Ngari's present, looking forward to Ngari's future.
