"FOCUS ON TALENTS” FINALISTS EXHIBTION will be put on at 2nd floor exhibition hall of Building 2, Today Art Museum, from May 13 to May 27. The works of 10 finalists will be displayed. They are: Chen Zhou, Chen Fei, Hu Yun, Han Bing, Li Wei, Liu Guoqiang, Pan Honggang & Hu Youchen, Wang Haiyang, Yan Xing and Zhao Jingyan (in alphabetical order).

Dong Bingfeng is the curator of this exhibition. During the exhibition, members of the judge’s committee will evaluate the finalists’ works and announce the winner at the opening. The year of 2012 witnesses the centennial of the birth of Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac, upon which, the exhibition will also include the works on the theme of “century” by the ten finalists along with other works.

Jointly launched by Today Art Museum and Martell Art Fund in 2010, the “FOCUS ON TALENTS” is a public non-profit art award focusing on contemporary young artists. Through professional recommendation and judging system, it displays the excellent works of young artists as well as their aesthetics and concepts in a vivid and comprehensive way, providing a platfor for artists both home and abroad to display their works and communicate ideas.
