Exhibition Preface

Does the energy of memory follow the second law of thermodynamics and tend to entropy? Before the arrival of nothingness, Dai Ying chose to direct the energy of individual memory to a kind of public memory, even a kind of calendar, through "cultural modeling".

Due to the great changes in the family of her father's illness and death, Dai Ying, an artist, has experienced an unforgettable emotional and psychological turbulence in her life. As the title of the exhibition shows, the exhibition constructs a narrative around "memory". In the switching of two different media forms of painting and installation, the exhibition shows the life deformation of the artist himself generated from this event.
