Exhibition Preface

This project is discussing the ambiguity relationship between the sitter and the photographer. “Sadness” is one of the most private emotions of human being. If someone is willing to cry in front of you, it suggests that you may have close relationship, but the truth might just not like it. The audience or even the photographer him/herself can never know whether the tears are real or not. “Photography” is not about a certain but many answers.——Shengyuan Hsu
