Exhibition Preface

With the support of J.P. Morgan, the third year of the Structured Art Education Program for Migrant Children star ted in September, 2011 and lasted eight months. Now it is the "graduation time" for these 90 students. This exhibition collects the art works of the students during the eight months, and displays the children's growth in the form of "diary." The 5th and 6th terms mainly focused on cultivating students' aesthetic interest and art techniques, as well as their knowledge of ethnic art. They also include two outdoor activities, and two Migrant sessions for teachers at the school for transient children. By displaying children's art works, documentary video and photograph and other means, this exhibition will show their growth and progress. We hope, through this exhibition, these children could be further recognized.
