In the midst of the digital-intelligent torrent, how can we, within the crevices of code, reconstruct an inner structure endowed with temporal depth and spiritual weight? Today Art Museum, a private non-enterprise contemporary art museum with two decades of operation, presents "ASTA+: Naked-Eye 3D Digital Art Exhibition" in the midsummer of 2026 — an exhibition that can be seen as a manifesto of simulacra, the awakening of Eastern spirituality, and algorithmic reconstruction.

Over the past decade, the global digital technology revolution has reshaped the underlying structure of civilization at an exponential pace. Within this grand transformation, the ecosystem of Chinese creators has once again shifted. They are no longer followers of Western digital art or passive users of technology, but rather, drawing upon profound local cultural heritage and cutting-edge digital-intelligent infrastructure, they have built a composite imaginative production system with strong self-sustaining capabilities. By deeply integrating Eastern philosophy, mythological narratives, and hardcore technology, Chinese creators are establishing new coordinates for themselves within the global digital cultural landscape.

"ASTA+" is precisely the fruit of this long trajectory of exploration. The exhibition constructs a multi-dimensional digital universe around three highly distinctive Chinese original digital art IPs — PANGU, ASTA, and FERRIX. This is not a mere replication of mythology, but an expansion of digital-intelligent practice into experimental narrative momentum: PANGU re-emerges in a deconstructive guise. He is no longer the giant of ancient legend, but rather the primordial consciousness before the birth of the digital world — the very symbol of "generative force" itself. ASTA embodies the Eastern philosophy of "unity of heaven and humanity." A mechanical body with a face as compassionate as a bodhisattva achieves the awakening of perception through the interplay of light, flowers, and data. FERRIX, as a "post-human" form driven purely by technological logic, represents another possibility for the evolution of life. Devoid of warmth, yet possessing ultimate order and the capacity for self-iteration, he stands like a monument from the future, silently examining the boundaries of anthropocentrism. The interweaving performances of these three digital beings (idols) constitute a profound dialogue between digital spectacle and civilization.

As times change, Today Art Museum maintains its conviction that the core of art lies in the human. Through "ASTA+" as a pioneering case, we hope to showcase the new trajectory of Chinese digital art development: with cutting-edge technological means as companions, a profound Eastern philosophical heritage becomes an inexhaustible source of creative vitality. When myth is reborn in algorithms, when machinery possesses a compassionate heart, we may just find, within this new world "beyond the simulacra," the next habitat for human civilization.
