Tim yip will appear in the exhibition hall of today art museum's "Tim yip: the whole view" at 13:00 PM on April 27.

Invite the audience to participate in the creation of photographic installation works with the theme of "meeting under the same space and time", and meet with one of his most representative works in recent years -- Lili in the reshaped art gallery space, recording the instant image of your meeting. 

At the end of the event, yip will screen the photographic works, and the selected works will be displayed in the exhibition hall as part of the exhibition titled "yip: the whole view".

Lili is one of the most representative works of contemporary art by Tim yip in recent years. Based on her first prototype, the tear-shedding bronze "lust," a more humanoid Lili with natural skin tone and movable joints appears. She is a 16-year-old Chinese girl, almost always wearing sunglasses and wearing a variety of costumes.

Lili travels all over the world, and in every dimension, she comes into contact with different people and things. Slowly she experienced many things that we are familiar with. But that's not what really happened. She was present in a temporal moment, in the camera's lens, alongside the real time. This is photographic evidence of her participation in these human ACTS of fact, including the clothes shown here, that she once existed but was not real.

Her appearance is the girl that grows up inside a city, although be good exterior, but not make public, disposition takes bit introverted, reveal a kind of cloified condition from time to time. She is a little reserved and passive, but very sensitive, with the heart to see everything, and not attached to any thought. Sometimes it is as if reality itself is contained in a vacuum vessel, the vessel that triggers all imagination. So close and familiar, so pervasive, so casual, so irrelevant. Between the virtual and the real, constantly moving forward, we can not change the existing concept of time, but out of time.

She is always imagining the possibility of her existence, existing in different corners, as if filling some places we can't reach. Only in its existence space, we can leave its own latitude to see it. We can gradually understand the attributes of space from the perspective of the human body. Each space has its own story, and the thinking and memory triggered by it is like a multidimensional overlapping world, which starts from her intervention and forms another place parallel to us. Therefore, it seems to be creating another reality, making the content of time. Its existence can boldly assume various human conditions, and the life forms can be reborn continuously. Every minute and every second is an independent existence, reflecting every person and individual in the world.

Lili, one of yip's most representative works in recent years, is an important part of the exhibition. Among them, in the main hall on the second floor of today art museum, Tim yip created a "floating city" for the audience, an illusory future where the earth no longer exists and people live in a floating space city. Below the city, there is a giant female humanoid device called the big Lili.


Every five minutes, the space will stage a "floating city" immersive experience that lasts 16 minutes and 14 seconds.

In ye's opinion, in the future space city, another "I" will appear at any time. "we can call him an alien visitor or an emissary from the void. The magic of this encounter makes us feel the mystery of existence and the source of existence. No matter when we live, one day we will find that we can meet another person who is equal to us.”

The exhibition hall on the 4th floor belongs to Lili's world. It displays Lili's original prototype bronze sculpture "original desire", the photos and images of Lili taken by Tim yip around the world, the magazine display of Lili on the cover of major magazines around the world, and the space for Lili to talk with robots.
