Exhibition Preface

500 million tons of trash a year? ! The equivalent of 450,000 elephants a day eating away at human space? But where did the trash end up?

As one of the design tour projects of Beijing international design week, "where is the garbage going?" environmental protection exhibition tracks the route of garbage generation, recycling and circulation, and returns to the people themselves -- garbage recyclers, environmentalists and creative workers, presenting a dynamic, diverse and broad and interesting garbage flow roadmap.

Since the implementation of the new waste classification policy in Shanghai, with the continuous promotion of waste classification policy in the whole country and the hot social topics, this exhibition has attracted a large number of families and young people with interesting and creative interactive experience. It is a fresh attempt to explore environmental education creativity and environmental culture and innovation.
