Since the 20th Century, both the core and extension of concept of Claborate-style Painting has experienced a series of restructuring and stretching, making Claborate-style Painting a reference to a painting style instead of merely a traditional painting branch. It becomes an important academic topic that recalls a Claborate-style consciousness and a Claborate-style spirit to express contemporary phenomena through exquisite and delicate techniques, since the spirit of preciseness, dignity and dedication of traditional Claborate-style Painting is a rare quality at present era.

The Exhibition contains the recent artworks of the representative painters born after 70s in contemporary Chinese Claborate-style Painting field. They explore the eternal visual power rested in daily figures and plots, ultimating thought from mind consideration in image details, endowing these common scenes significance with life experience and understanding. In terms of context, one one hand they are influenced by popular “Close Distance” and “Life Stream”viewing perspectives in 90s in the last Century, displaying surrounding contemporary urban life pace and growing situation of the youth. On the other hand, their perspective is extended further away, concerning more about plateaus, grasslands and local figures in homeland. It becomes the most attractive and fascinating thesis of the youth, especially Claborate-style figure painters after 70s who has the temperament of college.   

Without dedication to details one could never reach far. Same as the exhibition topic indicates, “dedication to detail” demonstrated  a academical and rational methodology and depth of veiw, which is a meticulousity and preciseness in Claborate-style painting; while “far-reaching” suggests a profound prospects and potential, moreover the depth and length of artistic life.
