Exhibition Preface

“Chen Qunjie's works create a serious and heavy, sacred and confused mental atmosphere. This atmosphere is inappropriate in the country where they do not need spiritual pursuit. Maybe many years later, people will find that, as the real depiction, it is necessary for a helpless and boring era to re-read. The metaphor of ‘wilderness’ and ‘white’ image in Chen Qunjie’s works point out the solemn and the noble of human spirit  which are the geometry image of human spirit on longitudinal coordinates."
